A Journey Into Stillness, Nature & Renewal

As winter settles across the landscape and the days grow shorter, nature gently invites us to do the same.

Join us for six soul-nourishing days at the breathtaking Amara Retreat, a private 44-hectare sanctuary nestled in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Held during the sacred Winter Solstice—the longest night of the year—this retreat honours a tradition celebrated across cultures for thousands of years: a time to pause, reflect, restore and welcome the returning light.

Winter is not a season to endure. It is a season to replenish.

Imagine waking to mountain views, beginning each day with yoga as the mist rises across the valleys, nourishing your body with beautiful organic meals, unwinding in the magnesium pool, sauna and steam room, and ending the evening beside the fire beneath a sky overflowing with stars.

This retreat offers the precious gift of space. Space to breathe deeply. Space to slow down. Space to reconnect with yourself away from the constant demands of everyday life.

Whether you are seeking rest, inspiration, healing or simply time to be, this retreat has been lovingly created to support you.

location

Amara Retreat is far more than a venue—it is a place that feels deeply held.
Surrounded by rolling hills and native bushland, the retreat has been thoughtfully designed to nurture both body and soul. The owners lovingly care for the land as its custodians, creating an atmosphere of peace that can be felt from the moment you arrive.

Pictures don’t do justice. In a word … breath taking!
