The Aging Brain – Bungendore

$50.00

Bungendore Sunday 15th 5.30-8pm

The brain is not fixed — it continues to change throughout life, constantly adapting, rewiring, and learning. While some cognitive shifts are a natural part of ageing, stress and nervous system dysregulation play a far greater role than we often realise in memory, focus, and recall.

Inspired by The Aging Brain and The Ageless Brain, this workshop weaves together accessible neuroscience with embodied yoga practices designed to calm the nervous system and support long-term cognitive health.

As the research reminds us: while growing older is inevitable, many of the challenges we commonly associate with ageing — including cognitive decline, disability, and loss of independence — are not. The choices we make now matter. They have the power to support vitality, clarity, and a sharp, resilient mind as we age.

The intention of this workshop is to gently explore the many factors that influence brain health — from stress and fatigue to movement, rest, and emotional regulation — and to understand both what contributes to degeneration and the preventative steps we can take to support the brain across the lifespan.

Join me for an nourishing evening of restorative yoga, playful brain-training activities, breathwork, meditation, deep rest, and shared dinner — an invitation to care for your nervous system, your mind, and yourself.
